Chronic kidney failure has profoundly impacted my life and that of my family. Originally from Venezuela, I moved to Spain seeking a chance to improve my health and continue being there for my loved ones.
For the past five years, I have bravely faced dialysis. Each needle and each session symbolize my determination to persevere. However, I seek more than just temporary fixes—I aspire for a life free from the constraints of my condition.
The Kidney Project offers a glimmer of hope to me. The prospect of a bioartificial kidney, a compact device that could dramatically alter my life's path, ignites my imagination. I envision a future where I am not bound by dialysis machines, where I can freely embrace my children without the worry of injury. This initiative represents a chance not just for me but for all individuals grappling with kidney disease.
My story is one of resilience and refusal to surrender. My family is my foundation, the core motivation behind my persistence. I am committed to contributing my utmost effort. I aim to be a beacon of hope for renal patients, sharing my journey and inspiring others to maintain their hope.

Originario de Venezuela, me mudé a España buscando una oportunidad para mejorar mi salud y seguir estando presente para mis seres queridos.
Durante los últimos cinco años, he enfrentado valientemente la diálisis. Cada aguja y cada sesión simbolizan mi determinación de perseverar. Sin embargo, busco más que soluciones temporales; aspiro a una vida libre de las limitaciones de mi condición.
El Proyecto del Riñón me ofrece un atisbo de esperanza. La perspectiva de un riñón bioartificial, un dispositivo compacto que podría alterar drásticamente el curso de mi vida, enciende mi imaginación. Imagino un futuro donde no esté atado a las máquinas de diálisis, donde pueda abrazar libremente a mis hijos sin la preocupación de lastimarme. Esta iniciativa representa una oportunidad no solo para mí, sino para todas las personas que luchan contra la enfermedad renal.
Mi historia es de resiliencia y negativa a rendirme. Mi familia es mi base, la motivación central detrás de mi persistencia. Estoy comprometido a contribuir con mi máximo esfuerzo. Aspiro a ser un faro de esperanza para los pacientes renales, compartiendo mi viaje e inspirando a otros a mantener su esperanza.
